Whatever your age, ability level, experience, or schedule, the Adaptive Sports Program New Mexico has something for you. From the thrill of downhill skiing to a serene day of kayaking or sailing, ASPNM strives to offer the best possible programs for people with disabilities to experience outdoor recreation in New Mexico. By investing in innovative adaptive equipment and training for our dedicated volunteer instructors, we hope to offer you the chance to get outside all year long at one of our sport programs.

SKIING / SNOWBOARDING:
Since 1985, The Adaptive Sports Program New Mexico has made the slopes of Ski Santa Fe and Sandia Peak available to people with disabilities. ASPNM offers Multi-Week Ski and Snowboard lessons that run from mid-January to early March, with registration beginning each year in September. Multi-Week lessons are offered in Santa Fe on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Multi-Week Lessons are offered at Sandia Peak on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays. Students may participate in either a two-hour morning or afternoon session. Full and partial scholarships are available to those who qualify. ASPNM owns adaptive ski equipment to allow people of all ability levels to enjoy skiing!
The Adaptive Sports Program also offers Private lessons on a reservation basis and with at least 2-weeks’ notice requested. All ASP Private Lessons take please at Ski Santa Fe. If you are planning a trip to Santa Fe, or you are a local who wants to take lessons outside of the Multi-Week program, contact us about Private Ski Lessons.
